Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Much Needed:

  • 3/4 cup cooked quinoa - any variety
  • 1 cup chopped seasonal fruits of choice - mixed berries go very well
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp coconut milk

How to:

  • In a bowl, layer the quinoa and fruits.
  • Add a splash of coconut milk.
  • Finish with a drizzle of honey.

a little something extra:

To enjoy a warm breakfast, heat the quinoa, milk and sweetener all together on the stove top, add fruits, heat through while stirring often. Enjoy.
Make it vegan by replacing honey with maple syrup, or agave nectar.
Coconut milk adds an exotic flavor, but can be replace with other dairy or non dairy milk of choice.
Add more texture, fiber and good fats by sprinkling on 1/2 tsp chia seeds.

apple + cinnamon + nut butter , mango + pineapple + coconut flakes ,  pear + almond butter , Pumpkin puree + pumpkin pie spice + cashew butter
